A young man has been arrested after allegedly crashing his car while intoxicated at Port Pirie last week.
Police responded to a single vehicle collision on Anzac Road, Risdon Park, where the driver had left the scene prior to the patrol's arrival.
Following investigations and speaking to witnesses, police have identified and located the alleged driver, a 23-year-old Port Pirie man.
Police checks revealed he had never held a driver's licence. He was arrested and charged with driving without due care, driving under the influence and driving unlicensed.
He was bailed to appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court on the 2nd of November.
