Drink Driver Stopped at Port Pirie

A man has lost his licence for six months after being caught drink driving at Port Pirie West.

Port Pirie police stopped a car on Senate Road for a random breath test, when the driver allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.135.

A 68-year-old man from Port Pirie was reported for drink driving, issued an instant loss of licence for six months and had his car impounded for 28 days.

He will be summonsed to appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court at a later date.
