A speeding P plater has lost his licence after being stopped on the Copper Coast Highway over the weekend.
A Highway Patrol officer was alerted to a dangerous driver travelling towards Kadina from Port Wakefield.
Police then detected a vehicle travelling at 153 in a 100 zone on the Copper Coast Highway just east of Kadina.
The 26-year-old man from Valley View was stopped and issued with an expiation notice for exceeding the speed limit and breaching a condition of is P2 licence, totalling $2153.
He was also issued with a six-month instant loss of licence disqualification.
