Yorke Peninsula Based Rangers Recruited

INNES 2

The Yorke Peninsula’s Innes National Park has welcomed three new rangers, who each come with a wealth of experience and expertise.

The recruitment follows an $11.8 million dollar investment into South Australia’s National Parks as part of the 2019-20 State Budget.

The newly appointed Yorke Peninsula-based rangers are part of a group of 33 who manage the state’s parks, support visitor experiences and care for wildlife, while aiming to monitor the condition and health of park biodiversity.

According to the Natural Resources Northern and Yorke, “The Yorke and Mid North region’s new recruits take the total number of rangers employed across South Australia to 133.”
