Last month Adele made the shock announcement that she may never tour again, and cut her World Tour short by cancelling her final shows at Wembley Stadium due to suffering severe vocal difficulties.
Since then, Adele has remained mute in an attempt to preserve her voice.
Adele has resorted to using her own form of sign language to communicate, and has been relying on her husband, Simon Konecki, to do the talking.
People who saw Adele inspecting a school for her four-year-old son, Angelo, say she "wasn't making a sound, even if she was asked a direct question."
Adele had major surgery on her vocal chords in 2011, after suffering a vocal hemorrhage and losing her voice.
We hope she gets well soon!
