Australia’s festival of pre-loved treasures, the Garage Sale Trail, is back, and registrations for sales are now open.
This award-winning sustainability event, supported by the Whyalla City Council, aims to reduce landfill and promote reuse in households.
The Council’s Events Coordinator, Ryan Sutherland last year’s event saw an impressive 30,000 kilograms of products sold and reused, generating nearly $80,000 for locals.
If you want to host a sale, you can register for free and welcomes households, schools, community groups, and businesses.
Trail Tutorials, a series of online talks featuring sustainability experts are also on the agenda, providing valuable tips on eco-friendly living.
The shopping trails begin November 11-12 and 18-19.
