Minlaton’s childcare centre is ready to go, with kids potentially able to be dropped off from next week.
If all goes to plan today, SYP parents and caregivers could be dropping their children off as early as Monday.
It was originally scheduled to be open for week one of term one this year, however the construction process was delayed due to shortage of trades.

Yorke Peninsula Family Learning and Care managing director, Michael French, says despite delays Minlaton has ended up with a premium centre.
The centre will create an additional 120 childcare places for the region, up from 18 when the initiative started.
