Scotch College has been ordered to release control of Goose Island on the YP, after a native title decision was handed down.
A request to relinquish it’s licence in advance of its expiry in 2027 was made earlier this year.

A DEW spokesperson saying discussions have been underway for months, following the Native Title Determination.
The school has used the land for camps for almost 60 years – since 1966 – and will host its final few before the end of this year.
