The country’s biggest regional accommodation provider is gearing up to take over Wilpena Pound Resort.
The G’Day Group is reportedly working alongside traditional owners and the state government, and already has plans for a multimillion-dollar redevelopment of the iconic Flinders site.
An initial $5 million would go towards upgrading the resort’s 60 hotel rooms, glamping tents and campgrounds, before larger redevelopments for additional accommodation and a water park in the future.
