South Australia’s infamous Bicycle Bandit has died just two days after being jailed for 35 years.

73-year-old Kym Parsons was granted voluntary assisted dying for Stage 4 cancer prior to being sentenced.

He spent almost two decades on the run until a DNA match last year linked him to 10 bank robberies between 2004 and 2014, including Balaklava’s ANZ in 2008.
