North of the line

North of the Line is an event aimed at supporting farmers, farming families and communities doing it tough in this drought.
The event is being held in Peterborough to support and distract people who are feeling the effects, particularly those that live north of the Goyder’s line.
The project was first initiated by a local farmer, with Elders, Landmark, Uniting Country SA, the Rotary Club of Peterborough and Regional Development Australia Yorke and Mid North getting involved to support the idea.
The event will encompas cricket matches and a family day to be held Sunday 17 November 2019.
The event is aimed at getting local farmers, business owners and community involved and as a distraction.
The secondary aim is to provide farmers and farming families with knowledge and access to services that can help people in drought.
There will be food, activities for all, cricket and tennis clinics for the kids, senior mixed cricket matches and much more. If you are interested in helping, playing in the feature matches or simply want more information contact Hayley.
