The Clare and Gilbert Valleys Council has approved Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging sites in Clare.
Public consultations on the sites will begin soon before the final agreement with the RAA is made.
The proposed EV chargers will be at the Gleeson Street carpark, after consultation with SA Power Networks.

RAA will fund all infrastructure costs, electricity usage, servicing, and maintenance while promoting Clare’s involvement through marketing campaigns.
The community can make submissions on the draft site host agreement.
RAA, in collaboration with the SA Government, is constructing the state’s first border-to-border EV charging network with 140 sites due to be completed by 2024.
