road closed.pngThe Department of Planning, Transport and infrastructure advises residents that Yorkeys Crossing is closed due to weather conditions.

Those wishing to use the crossing are advised to find an alternate route.

Other roads affected due to the wet conditions include, Iron Knob to Hilbata, Tea Tree to Yunta and Roads in the Flinders National Park.

Over 40ml of rain fell in the Port Augusta region over the last 48 hours leading to the road closures.

Drivers are advised to be cautious on the roads and leave enough space between yourself and the car in front of you to reduce road accidents.
