One Direction went on hiatus over a year and a half ago. Since then the boys have started successful solo projects, featured in films and even started a family.
Simon Cowell, the band's X-Factor mentor and pretty much the reason One Direction were a thing in the first place, has a theory about the future of the band.
Simon Cowell believes it is likely One Direction will reunite in the future, despite all having successful solo careers, however he says Harry Styles may not be involved.
"You know, it's fun being out there on your own but what I hope is going to happen is that they remember now how much fun it was being in a group.
"I always believe that you don't make rules, you break the rules. So there's nothing to stop them, if they want to, getting together for a tour, for an album. I made it absolutely clear, obviously, 'We're in'."
He added that it "wouldn't be the same" though, implying that Harry Styles might pass on the idea, but also said he believes Zayn Malik could "100%" rejoin the group.
Zayn Malik left the band in 2015, before One Direction announced their hiatus, but has since amended ties with his ex-band mates.
It would still be a while away, but hang in there 1D fans.
