Port Augusta Mayor Joy Baluch AM has passed away overnight with her family by her side. You would struggle to find another person who has so passionately fought the fight for Port Augusta. Port Augusta Mayor for almost 30 years, that’s believed to be an Australian record. She will be sadly missed, and fondly remembered. My thoughts go to the family, and I wish to express my person gratitude for the major contributions she made to the community that I live in.
